• Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, utilizing knowledge of production processes and methods, machine and equipment capabilities and human resource requirements
  • Responsible for material usage review, component reconciliation and scrap loss minimization
  • Manages safety efforts, reporting and cleanliness programs
  • Evaluates employees performance on a timely basis and recommends personnel actions, such as promotions, transfer, discharge, or disciplinary measures
  • Forecast review and develops capacity model for equipment/personnel resources
  • Evaluate manpower levels, focusing on machine capacities with maximum efficiency of employee strengths
  • Develops cost savings initiatives, recommends capital spend projects for process improvement
  • Conducts plant tours a customer visit planning
  • Works with Packaging Maintenance for manufacturing planning and strategic initiatives
  • Informs and maintains constant communication with supervisory and management personnel concerning quality issues related to manufacturing operations, deviations occurring from existing standards, deficiencies and accomplish cost reductions and company goals
  • Administer and communicate corporate policy and procedures to employees and agencies
  • Review and manage department schedule in order to meet customer demand
  • Respond to and review customer complaints w/employees
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and make adjustments where needed
  • Manage new product launch startups
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing plant environment
    • Proficiency in automated systems of production planning, purchasing, warehousing, and logistics as well as operational execution
    • Experience with cGMP procedures and knowledge of safety, OSHA regulations
    • Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process.
    • Experience in an FDA regulated facility.
    • Experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, Food Production and OTC preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced in Excel
    • Able to lead and motivate teams to high performance in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
    • Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process.
    • Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines and achieve results, while maintaining high quality
