The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing Supply Chain data and other qualitative information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating findings or recommendations. The Analyst will also have the opportunity to present results and recommendations to company management, in collaboration with Supply Chain team members. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, able to navigate multiple ERPs, proficient in ETL and value-added analysis, a self-starter and able to quickly understand and take direction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a company-wide spend cube and refresh it monthly
  • Gather demand, supply and forecast data, and help in creating a monthly S&OP company view
  • Assist manager in ad-hoc Supply Chain analysis including lead time analysis, on-time delivery, plant capacity utilization, forecasting etc.
  • Automate reporting, e.g., using SSRS
  • Create Supply Chain simulation and analytics models, to be used by the Supply Chain team in developing Supply Chain solutions
  • Participate on project teams to deliver analytical insights
  • Create compelling visualization of data, dashboards, tools and reports that supports the interpretation of conclusions to drive key supply chain decisions

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Econometrics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Other Engineering; or 3-5 years of Applied Analytics experience
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics and quantitative problem-solving skills; have advanced analytics skills; can draw conclusions/see trends in data vs. purely reporting on data
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and to work with people at all levels in an organization
  • Demonstrated skills in advanced analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau/Spotfire/ Microsoft Power BI etc. Able to take large amounts of data and synthesize into visually effective presentations
  • Past experience creating spend cubes is preferred
  • Past experience programming simulation models to model constraints is preferred
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Ability to interpret analysis results using a variety of techniques
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
